This Castel dates back to the Middle Ages as part of a series of fortifications and was built with fragments of Roman monuments, blocks of marble and flint.Over the Centuries the Castle saw several extensions , such as the masonry of the Baroque period, outside the complex, murals and interior furnishings to the Castle; during the Renaissance was built the current chapel, situated on the ground floor. The Chapel inside is not plastered, showing the original structure of the flint, and the small altar, repeating the seven theological virtues in the seven columns supporting the canteen.
